Here is my original post
So after speaking to my lawyer, we have came to conclusion that it would be the best of my interest to tell the police my side of the story, since everything what happened wasn't really my fault. Yesterday I went in and told them my side of what happened that night, which was the same story the accuser told them. After that she brought up my texts saying "sorry" and such, to explain why I sent that. I explained that I was in shock and uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to talk it out. After going through all the details, she asked me what would I do in her shoes. That was kind of a trick question to ask, but I told her, in my case, I would issue a warning and let the guy go. Then she asked if the person would actually sexually assault the victim, what would I do. I told her, I would probably send them to jail. After these questions, she left for a couple of minutes. When she returned, she looked at me and told me, she's not going to charge me, since the "victim" did say, she did say yes when I asked her. After she ended the interview, she just gave me some advice on further relationships.
I am happy this is over with.
