I remember when people used to talk about the gargantuan "wage gaps" between the super-rich and the super-poor. Now we have spoiled entitled divas whining that they only make $10 million dollars per film. At least most rich men have the sense to STFU and count their blessings lest the peasants get restless and go looking for their pitchforks. Rich feminist women simply can't help themselves from nagging and complaining no matter how good they have it.

Not only should it be laughable to everyone how the media is focusing on the richest of the richest of the superrich and their alleged 'pay gaps,' but even worse is the fact that the compensation in their industry is negotiated on an individual AND per project basis AND is based on a calculation of their box office earning potential that can change in less than a week. Jennifer Lawrence is set to earn more than double her famous co-star because her many representatives have argued to the studio heads that she is more of a draw. That's the only reason and it's the only reason anyone in hollywood gets paid anything.

A quick check of her filmography says that after Basic Instinct she was in nothing really noteworthy. Maybe there's a correlation?
