Some men are ok with fighting, but not all of us are meant for it. Isn't saying that "men should fight, because they're men" a dangerous gender stereotype? Not all men are aggressive, trained, or otherwise fit for combat.

I think a lot of Syrian men would welcome the opportunity to fight for their country. Is Australia planning to train and equip them? Not bloody likely.

Apparently it's a really popular opinion on reddit. Redditors would love to fight for a country that arrests and tortures them because they would 'fight for their country rather than run off to Germany'
