They should be forced to reimburse him for the cost of the flight that he missed. It doesn't say where he was flying to. But airfar isn't cheap. Even if he was flying to the next city over would be about $200 after all the airport fees are added up.

If the gender reverse of this ever happened. Feminists would characterize it as a patriarchal conspiracy to stop women from flying.

So ANY MALE for any flight during their shift would be refused a flight. That's insane. There's something fundamentally broken in that security system.

Affirmative Action to get some more male security officers?

Obviously if men are being blocked from taking flights because there's no male officer to search him this constitutes a need for more male officers.

Very odd that they would only have female staff on duty if the rules are opposite-sex frisking is not allowed. The staff should have been informed of the exception, as obviously at some point a male passenger would have to be frisked.

not the womens fault at all, they did the correct thing, but whoever runs the screening service fucked up big time, he has every right to sue over this, since their failure and negligence in adequate rostering means through no fault of his own that he has lost out.

I would be more outraged if this man was forcibly searched by female personnel as his only way of getting on the flight.

but as it is, the pitchforks should be aimed at however is responsible for the securities service roster.
