I'd just tell them about gender and how they're allowed to do what the fuck they wanna do in terms of it and when other people whine about gender roles, tell them to shove it. Repeat the lesson on occasion til it sinks in.

Maybe covertly arrange for them to meet a few gender-bent role models like male nurses and female soldiers to balance out the other role models they'll meet.

But as for buying blue and pink? Fuck it guys, just buy green. It's simpler.

I like this article, I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about it.

It says nothing bad about boys. It's simply talking about eliminating gender roles and making things better for everyone. I would think things like "let boys cry" are great for men's rights.
