Alison Saunders, UK Director of Public Prosecutions, backtracks on misleading "Violence against Women & Girls" [VaWG] report, that actually included 13,000 male victims of crime. But the report title won't change, and the Guardian headline is: "…we can't ignore violence against women and girls"!

Alison Saunders has lost the confidence of the public. On the one hand she says she does not differentiate on the basis of gender and then does exactly that. An activist DPP has no place in the criminal justice system and is a dangerous thing. Her piece here does little allay to my fears.

Of course the correction article is a joke: It's published in the Guardian [which doesn't have a "women's section", because the whole paper is for women only], the title is all about violence against women, and she is not even going to change the title of the VaWG report.

And the article ends with:

"I hope my willingness to address these concerns will be welcomed, but until it is no longer the case that the vast majority of these crimes are committed by men using power, coercion and violence against women, amending the title of VaWG would put the victims of these crimes back into the dark, where they have been kept for far too long."

But of course men are far more likely to be the victims of violence — but that doesn't count.

The UN and the British government include verbal abuse or threats as abuse in the same category as violent abuse. The UN only looks at women and girls to collect data. Males are just as much abused as women but the UN and CPS do not want the public to know this. It goes against their agenda if they have to treat men and boys as victims.

The CPS in the UK is outrageously anti male. It rarely prosecutes false allegations of rape.

We know that there are 22000 false allegations of rape reported to the police. (Any man who is accused of rape will say it is a false allegation when being questioned about a rape) These false allegation statements by men to the police should be investigated and prosecuted with the same urgency that rape is investigated and prosecuted.
