So here I am, 19, male, no job, on break from college, and treated like complete scum at home. I have applied to many jobs and have yet to receive a single call or email. I eat 1-2 small meals a day with water and get called a gluton. The main problem is my mother who is ill(possibly delusional) but uses it as a tool to get family to think I'm the problem while she plays the victim. She is a liar, exaggerator, manipulator, and is on a power trip all because she's the "damsel in distress." She definitely has some issues, when I was a kid I would be interrogated everyday after school to see if I was behaving/doing well, if answered with a unsatisfactory answer I'd get some whips from the belt, a simple "I laughed during class" would trigger her, I was too honest, no whips were rare. This type of behavior was gone for a small while but now it's back nasty as ever. She regularly visits my room for organization, she even went as far as making my door knob only lockable from the outside, I have zero privacy. Today was the last straw, she came into my room and saw my desk with some paints on them and a pair of pants on the ground and went berserk, she began ranting about how I like being shit and went into my closet and threw all my folded clothes all over my room then threatened to call the police while my dad sat in another room eating Doritoz and agreeing and adding to the profanities, I stormed out. I just can't take it anymore, does anyone have any suggestions? She also stole my first semesters financial aid because "I'm your mother, what about all the shit I've bought and given up for you?" For every complaint fulfilled, there is a 100 more. Here I am at a McDonald's with no more than 40 dollars and no ounce of desire to live there.
