Why doesn't the sphere of Men's Rights/Masculism fight for the rights of trans men, gay men, black men, or male rape victims (including prison rape victims)?

We do advocate for male victims of all violence including prison rape victims. I dont see how men issues are unrelevant to gay men and trans men.

Mens rights activists who are gay and who are transsexuals and therefore understand the issues of gay/trans men DO fight very actively for gay rights and transsexual rights. In fact gay mens rights activists have achieved a great teal. Dont ask dont tell, gone. In more and more states gay men can marry (lesbos too). At the forefront of it all were gay MRAs not feminist women. Feminist women render lip service at best to the lsgq community. (which is better than nothing and a refreshing change from vilifying men).

Sounds like you came to this sub hoping to get your preconceived notions confirmed.

Sure, a lot of this sub is "teh damm femminiztz!", which can get old IMO. But if you aren't seeing all the false accusation posts, legislation reform posts, Title 9 posts, fathers rights posts, etc, then you I can only conclude that you're deliberately missing them.

I've been on this sub for maybe 3 months or so and I can tell you this for sure:

I have never seen anyone here bash gays or trans. From all that I've seen the MRM sub here has got your back if you've got a cock and balls.

How about you hop over to r / feminism or one of its sister subs. we live in a world where some women can be stoned to death for being raped, and can't even drive, let alone hold office, but you know what the big outrage over there was last week? a protein powder ad featuring a woman with an impressively low body fat percentage...because it was making them feel bad about themselves. Mainstreamm feminism has become largely about the annoyances of college educated upper middle class white women and they get taken completely seriously.

You should hang around longer. There are posts about social attitudes to men wearing dresses, issues pertaining to being a gay man, issues pertaining to being a trans man when they are relevant. The point of the sub is to discuss Men's rights and when issues intersect you can observe this place being very supportive of all sorts of people.

It's not moderated, but I can't think of any homophobic comments ever coming up and anyone who did would probably get piled on.
