He is obviously saying it to get support that would otherwise go to hilarie who says it too.

Before i saw this i thought he was a candidate who stood for what he believed in. The problem is now i can't always tell when he is pandering and when he is showing integrity.

Given his overall leftiness -- genuine leftiness, from what i can see -- i am willing to tolerate a bit of feminist bullshit. Unfortunately, i don't think he stands much chance against Clinton as she has the whole First Female President thing going for her. Because of that, only Warren has some possibility of taking her down.

The gender pay gap is real, it is just not what people think it is generally, aka that women get paid less even when they have the same training/experience. Rather it is an inequity in overall earning power for females during their lifetimes in general due to their biological and societal roles and expectations which they must devote time, effort and resources towards in a way that prevents them from devoting their lives as fully to their careers as men.

This is a fact. Whether you support a governmental initiative towards correcting this inequity is what should determine whether you agree on the issue I'd think, though something like that seems pretty far down his to do list should he manage to be elected somehow.

Sanders cares about everyday men working hard jobs. He cares about civil liberties, ending mass incarceration and not going into any war at the first sight of a brown person. He is the most men's rights friendly candidate, even with this kind of statement.
