you should see their website, it is like a feminist preaching board. so much about exclusively women as if smoking is deadlier to women.

its the classic leave men and their suffering out of the picture as they focus on women.

i pulled all of my funding to them in disgust.

Well often charities will only showcase female victims for their advertising / begging, even if they actually do help male victims too, because people have compassion on women so it sells better.

I've seen two possibilities presented about this:

1) just a marketing gimmick to draw in more cash for the cause.

2) they sincerely only intend to help women.

The latter is obviously extremely sexist. The fact that that would be considered acceptable is appalling to say the least.

But I think that the former would be even worse, not on the Association's behalf, but as an indicator of society as a whole: if misandry and gynocentrism have gotten so bad that a cause can get more money by pretending to abandon men, at the expense of their lives even, then gender relations have reached an all time low in this civilization.
