How does one become the well rounded man?

A broad education (which can be in or out of a traditional classroom) and life experience are the only things that give you these tools. Don't be myopic, get out and see the world, experience things.

It’s not talked about much around here but I think the first step is having financial success/security. Lots of good things tend to happen when you ooze money. Confidence, the mental upper hand, the ability to get out of bad situations. Financial freedom. Etc. I think self employment is the way to go but that’s just me.

On the other hand, if you’re broke and/have no plan, no lofty goals then that puts you right there in the middle of the pack with all the others. No matter how much you lift. That just makes you a broke guy with big muscles. Hardly a winning combination.

Read, travel and do shit. It gives you perspective. It makes you interesting, and chicks love interesting guys.
