Most frustrating thing is that feminists routinely spin this idea to how it hurts women and represses their sexuality and conveniently ignore that men are shamed and demonized for theirs.

Sure, I suppose it can "hurt" both genders. But I'd much rather be thought of as "pure" and "innocent" than evil, dirty and a borderline rapist.

Ok, so i'll come out and bite the bullet. I think feminism is largely fine when it's targetting clerical stupidity like this. It seems to do the job. If the movement would confine itself to that shit, I doubt there'd be a problem.

Not nearly as well as Atheism (Or at least Secularism.), mind you, but there you go.

As for this, I think this is mostly a womens issue frankly, except for the implication that men are supposed to control women and will be blamed if the woman does something wrong while under their "care". (Which is true. Men are sort of treated like babysitters to a massive, spoiled toddler.)

That aspect of it is a mens issue. But all the ascribing of traits to women and such is pretty clearly inspired by clerical morality. I say that as an atheist, I mean no offence to any religious people here, that's just my perspective. I also don't think it's religious morality necessarily, but the morality often pushed by organized clergy.

Other than that, and it's a bit of a stretch, I think this is mostly a womens issue thing. Maybe I don't see it?

The point of this is not so much to educate boys but to shame girls who would otherwise give it up too easily. Women hate other women as competition so they make sure girls are making guys jump through all sorts of hoops amd prove himself worthy. I mean can you actually conceive of what it would be like if girls just had sex because they enjoy it?
