There's definitely a tendency for people to assume a man must have at least done something really shitty to a woman if she's willing to accuse him of rape. It's the whole Women are Wonderful effect, where we assume women wouldn't do wrong unless wrong has been done to them.

This is true, despite the fact that rape trials don't resembles normal criminal trials in the sense that the jury evaluates evidence to see if it proves something beyond reasonable doubt. Rather, rape trials are more like truth commissions, where the jury (using its magic pixie dust of course) is able to positively ascertain who is telling the truth between two conflicting accounts. So when a jury finds not guilty in a rape case, they are not saying there was not enough evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt, but that they find the accused was telling the truth, and the accuser was lying, that it was a false rape accusation.

Also notice how the accuser gives "powerful witness testimony" whereas the accused "flatly denies the charges". You're guilty before the trial had barely begun.

sometime in the past, feminists came to the realization that they would have to either acknowledge that some rape claims were false, or double down and declare all rape claims as sincere. they chose the latter. of course in cases like Jackie at UVA, where the claim is obviously fabricated, they can't come to admit they've been had. hence "something happened" or "there's no perfect victim."

it's the same with women saying even if the guy didn't rape her, he must be enough of an asshole to deserve the accusation. so we see tyler kost, where a bunch of females decide it would be "fun" and he "needs to be taught a lesson." did he actually commit a crime, though? if not, there is something extremely disturbing about women using lies and the criminal justice system to get back at men who they think have wronged them in some way.

They have to hold that stance in the argument. If these feminist/rape alarmists have to admit that one man was genuinely falsely accused, then they risk the entire damn breaking, so to speak. If you have to question the assumed guilt of one man being accused of rape under a given set of circumstances, then you have to question the guilt of every man under those same set of circumstances. It is a domino effect that ends up challenging their entire narrative.
