The most important thing, I think, is to not be a detriment. This means being polite, and knowledgeable, which means researching what you're talking about before getting into an argument.

But generally education is important, so just try talking about these issues. It will be tough. People will hate you for it.

/r/MRActivism is a sub dedicated to just this, so you are in luck. I would also recommend that you spend time going through the right side of the /r/MensRights sub, there is so much info there and more links than you thought. Finally I encourage you to spend more time being an activist outside of the internet than on it, as well as taking breaks from activism and /r/MensRights from time to time.

First thing is, never leave yourself open to abuse.

Never be alone with a woman, always have witnesses
Never say, write, or publish anything negative about them in their presence
DO NOT DATE
Do not cosign loans, befriend, or otherwise enable
Learn all the terms that are "triggers" to them, and avoid using them.
Actually, best to speak to them only transactionally

That way you can never be accused of rape, brought up on false paternity charges, etc.
