You know some people who fought for equal rights and the oppressed would once march for miles and face beatings by police, riots, lynch mobs, and possible killings by race extremists.

However whereas groups like the Freedom Riders faced being firebombed and then sealed inside a burning bus, before barely escaping and being beaten almost to death;feminist writers faced harsh words that caused them to run away and hide from their keyboards, never to write again.

Clearly they are devoted to their cause. I mean the Riders were so devoted that they wrote out their wills and messages to their families because they knew they were quite likely going to their deaths. But these feminist women did so much more for the cause.....

Makes it very clear how important human rights are to these people, doesn't it?

That's just awful. Harassment also online harassment is not ok.

(Yeah, there are different definitions of where harassment begins, here we speak about doxxing, rape and death threats.)

What Matt Taylor went through, the fact that Paul Elam almost certainly faces a similar barrage, all that does in no way excuse harrassment.

No, here I stand with Voltaire: I do not agree with what they have to say, but I will defend their right to say it without rape or death threats.

And as such: Fuck you for your Hurrah. This is nothing to celebrate. This is the ugly side of humans the side, we all should control for a better future.

On a more pragmatic note: I think this online harrassment will also have the effect that only feminist stay online that are a bit fanatics. (you know not that everyday woman that takes "Feminism is for equality" literally but the radfem version: "all men are rapists" (and here, I have E-Mails to prove it.))

I read the papers. I see men attacked for daring to have a view that deviates from the feminist agenda. These attacks are well organized and relentless. Given that, I have zero sympathy for feminists abused online. Let them get the same treatment they dish out to others. It's not time to be noble.

Those feminist our are greatest recruitment tool..At this point most of their internet traffic and therefore income is derived from men outraged at their shenanigans. I sincerely hope they do not retire..One of the things they lament about is their failures at recruiting younger women to take their place..They blame abuse but I wonder if these younger women perhaps see how the work of outrage feminism is actual harming women. Not just the harming the pontificating feminist but all women because of the alienation of men in society is getting closer to a critical mass..
