Hey i am all for equality, but this argument is the same tired... "Video games cause violence", "insert genre of music caused blah blah blah behavior", and "porn teaches men to rape." it's all bullshit. Albeit slightly varied.

Yes, men are often shown as idiots. It's the media, they suck on feminist tit 24/7. I don't take cartoon personally. I am 100% against censorship.

Frozen was pretty benign. Yes the bad guy was male. In snow white the evil person is female. In a story of good versus evil you are going to have a villain that is either biologically male or female.

These shows have a cookie cutter formula they follow to make money. We have lost a lot of great comedy to all the PC whining from super sensitive individuals. Personally I feel 1st world people have just turned into a bunch of whining pussies that need better hobbies.

This is dumb. There are plenty of other movies in which men are shown as fools and villains, just as there are plenty of movies in which women are shown as fools and villains.

Am i the only one who notices that the presumption of "Advance one by dis-empowering the other" functionally presumed that "Empowerment" is some fixed quantity to be divided? If each person is empowering themselves, then there is no reason why someone being less able to self empower would result in someone else being more able to self empower.

I will concede that i am a quazi marxists, but this construction of things strikes very close to gender mercantilism. In an exploitative system, the supply of people who can be exploited is fixed, as is their willingness to be exploited, so the exploiters need a way to divide the spoils. In colonialism this was done by large scale land wars. This statment seems not a request for an end to explitation, but a demand for entry into the class of exploiters.

If someone else can conceive of a construction where self empowerment necessitates dis empowering others, please, enlighten me?
