This is terrible but I enjoyed Paul's response.

I wonder if his wife, who smoked PCP while pregnant, repeatedly cheated on him, refused to take a paternity test and demanded money to get rid of her, knows who the father really is?

I have read two articles. The original one, and then Elam's response. The wife claims she never cheated, so you only have his word against her's. She claims she was raped by a black man around the time of conception, but the child is obviously full caucasion. Paul was legally married to mother and on the birth certificate. he could have a paternity test done at any time. No permission is necessary. I believe birds of a feather flok together. This is the woman he chose to wed and be the mother to his children. If she is or was bad, then I believe he is/was just as bad.

According to the daughter, her and Paul reunited as adults, had discussed getting a paternity test, but since they had such a strong resemblance they both decided it would be a waste of money. Paul writes in his recently published rebuttal, that he believes he is her father.

Mothers often use the courts to seek dropping the father rights when the father is a deadbeat, because without that legal piece of paper, the mother would need to track down Paul and get his permission every time she took the kids into Mexico or Canada or had a medical decision to make (I believe she lived in both Washington and Texas which both have international borders). Getting Paul dropped as the legal father probably made her life easier. I believe they have two children together, not just the daughter. So Paul signed away his rights to both of them.
