Anita is just a con artist, she can get as much money as she wants, she's still not really bringing any change. Let's see what's changed in the gaming industry since she and her feminist friends started bitching.

It's about what you'd expect. I thought a couple of Colbert's jokes were alright, I chuckled. Then Anita came on. I just find it disturbing that someone so obviously fake and full of shit can get so much mainstream attention. Other than that the interview was not notable, more of the same crap she's been shoveling in her tropes series. I did find it upsetting that Colbert framed Gamergate as a purely male movement though. I know it's not actual news but it's just needlessly disingenuous. You can paint Gamergate as a sexist hate filled movement all you want without erasing the identities of women and minorities Stephen.

I think his character could have been a better parody of how people perceive a "conservative gamergate supporter" but eh, it wasn't so bad. Maybe it's easier for me to imagine a hard hitting parody of gamergate because I'm so familiar with it. He could have called her out on completely misrepresenting what gamergate is while staying in character (I've seen him do similar things before with other guests), but it's a comedy show and not meant to be a hard hitting interview.

Edit: Image if, after she claimed gamergate was about harassing women he held his hand up, stopped her, and deadpan said: "Actually.... it's about ethics in gaming journalism."
