Depends a lot on your definition of long term. if you include anyone in solitary it's not that bad a ratio like, I dunno, twenty to one, but as you go into periods like over a year it can look more like up to 1000:1.

So it says for California 74 women at one point and something like 3000 or maybe 8000 people total. So that's what? 40:1 or 100:1? But that's the lowest ratio because it includes anyone in solitary.

If you look at the other end then the article says only 2 women served over 800 days in solitary whereas this article:

mentions 500 "people" in solitary for over ten years. So that's a ratio of at least 250:1 but there's a lot of difference between 800 days and ten years. I suspect there's just zero women in solitary for ten years (in California).
