Here's a poll from two years ago. It answers most of your questions. For instance, an overwhelming majority views early feminism's gains positively, most MRAs are socially liberal, etc.

Doing polls of MRAs is difficult because the hatred directed towards the movement means that polls are normally brigaded by people wishing to show the movement in a bad light. Since we don't have a roll of MRAs we can't enforce a poll merely of these people. Having said that, formal organisations are being formed in various countries. One of the reasons I want this to happen is because the organisation can have a formal position on statements like this. Right now I can comment on the prevailling opinion among MRAs but that statement is potentially open to dispute. In contrast, if there is a national representative body then we can point to that and say "This is the position of the organisation".

The prevailing opinion in the MRM is support of equality of opportunity. We often criticise feminists as trying to work towards equality of outcome. This is an important distinction to understand when discussing equality.

You haven't defined what you mean by "gender equality", so your "poll" will be invalid as you don't know what a "yes" means except that the voter has some concept of "gender equality" they agree with, but which may vary widely from others.

Egalitarianism is all a matter of perspective so it is meaningless. Feminists and MRA's both consider themselves egalitarians. There are extremes at either end but I'm sure that neither actually consider themselves sexist. As much as I dislike feminism, most feminists consider themselves egalitarians based on what they have been exposed to, and MRA's likewise. Sadly, most of the mainstream media is feminist/gynocentric, or policed by feminists so the exposure that most people have is extremely biased. Misandry is the result, but it's not based on hating men, it's based on a sense of egalitarianism, as odd as that may sound.

Stupid question.

You could ask any hate movement, including the feminists, the same question and they'd all pretend to be for equality. Bigots are smart enough to lie.

You find out if a movement is really for equality by what it does, not what it claims about itself. Nobody is a devil in their own eyes. The KKK was once seen as a progressive movement.

Instead I suggest you ask feminists if they support specific sexist policies. For example in the UK recently government sponsored DV shelters went up for bid and the feminists were told they would have to allow male clients if they wanted to bid. They all refused. The idea of helping men too was so disgusting to them that they refused to bid on the shelters. In Australia something similar is happening. In the US feminists still practice sex segregation that is illegal and the vast majority of feminists will support that policy if you ask them.

Don't ask people if they support equality. Ask them what their policies are.
