That's why I wrote "Assuming her side of the story is accurate".

While it's true that one would wonder how the situation got to the point where she had the opportunity to do what she did, I don't think your explanation is reasonable either as there's a whole list of reasons why should would cut off his penis:
- She wanted to make sure he wouldn't do it to anyone else
- She didn't attack him until he made it absolutely clear he was going to rape her, and that was the closest and most vulnerable area. Imagine a half naked man is on top of you, where would you stab him that would hurt the most without him seeing it coming and having a chance to stop you?
- She did want revenge on that specific part of the body, but it's because he really did rape her before.

If you were a woman and a naked man was trying to rape you, and you had a knife hidden in your hand, the most vulnerable part to hit him in would be the penis. It also be the closest to where your hand already is, and the farthest away from him seeing what's happening until it's to late.

On the other hand, of course the point of deception is to convince someone that you're doing something acceptable while actually doing something different and unacceptable. So that doesn't say whether or not the story was made up. I was saying that if the story is accurate though, I have no problem with what she did and would applaud her.

This is another reason I don't believe he was raping her.

She wanted to make sure he wouldn't do it to anyone else

Or he could go to prison.

She did want revenge on that specific part of the body, but it's because he really did rape her before.

Or she's a sadist.

Generally when you rape someone you restrain their arms. I don't believe that she had a knife hidden. She attacked him.

I was saying that if the story is accurate though, I have no problem with what she did and would applaud her.

Even if her story was true, her response was way out of hand. It was cruel and unusual. She could have just as easily stabbed his chest and escaped. She attacked him and reveled in the pain.

Plus we all know the huge epidemic of false rape claims in India right now. Especially to get revenge/get out of trouble.
