The majority of ISIS fighters will be victims in some form or another, brutalized and forced to accept ideology or die and then to stay alive they must continue with it. I cannot imagine how much that damages their psyche. This kid was only a few steps away from that, these hardened fighters coming out of Syria and western Iraq will have had that for years.
