The thing that really made me look into this story is the number of people I went to school there with who were claiming that it isn't possible to have gender discrimination against a male. I'll be curious to see how this ends up.

It's sad that it always has to come to lawsuits before any of these people are punished for their bullshit. Good on the kid, though, for following through.

Not knowing the facts, but only hearing this kid's version, it does seem that he was rail roaded. If the investigator falsified quotes, she should be expelled. On the other hand, what adult man carries around a toy guy? That is just weird.

This is ridiculous. It also speaks volumes to the environment that we live in. That women hear so much fear-mongering bullshit that they think that just about any man in their vicinity is just itching to commit some sort of violent crime on them. The girl texted him, apologizing for freaking out, but saying that he made her uncomfortable. I'm assuming he probably didn't apologize for the event, because when they got another knock at the door five hours later, they did the "reasonable" thing and called the effing police. They had zero reason to think anything bad was going to happen to them. None.

And then all of the other bullshit gets to me too. A black and white photo being used as evidence in this day and age? That's bullshit. It's sad that it has gotten to the point where if you give any sort of statement to police you basically have to fucking record it all in case they decide to lie and say you said something that you clearly did not.

I sincerely hope that everyone involved in this is fucking fired.
