I often times see people preaching at one another about something they are interested in, say, their theory of what God is. Do you think it's wrong for people to do this? Is it some from of taking advantage of nice people who will listen and not argue? Sometimes I will get into conversations with people and they will start unraveling their doctrine/philosophy on to me. And sort of semi-lecture me about what they think. I sort of nod and agree, don't have much to say because it's the first time hearing their ideas. Do you think this is a form of using people? I always feel a bit drained hearing people ramble on about their ideas on x,y,z . What does everyone think here? How do you deal/handle these situations where people want to preach and lecture you about one of their thoughts/ideas?
