This is the exact kind of irrelevant content, followed by anti-woman comments, that makes us looks like fucking idiots when new readers come along.

It's the fucking NY Daily News. It's an unsubstantiated report (there's been no investigation of the abuse claim, doctors don't actually know what caused the stone, etc.) Could it all have happened exactly as the traumatized child described? Certainly. But the fact that a yellow journalists will print a story like this does not make it true, and even if it IS true, there is no faint whiff of a suggestion that this kind of behavior is OK.

People of both sexes do depraved things. Curating an "evil woman of the day" gallery, accompanied by insulting generalizations about female caregivers, makes us look like hateful idiots.
