I googled this question and found this study which found that although people said that they preferred blue eyes, they didn't actually rate blue eyes as being more attractive. Rather, people rates mostly on scleral color, a sign of age and health. Frankly, I'm surprised. Perhaps there's more literature that found different results.

I don't have access to the details of the study, but I'm curious if they used pictures of people with differing skin colors, or if everybody had the same.

it’s a nice halo and it raises your SMV sure but it won’t turn a inkel/normie to a chad or anything. 5/10 light eye ethnic won’t mog a 7/10 brown eye ethnic. many people obsess over eye color but overall it’s a minor thing. eye shape for example is so much more important.

If colored eyes makes one look pretty then it's good. But some people look uncanny in blue eyes.

I'm partial to brown eyes. I like the way they look when the light hits them. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Blue and green are for other people.

It’s called the halo effect. It makes women more attractive, generally speaking, too.
