Yeah, I actually agree with this. There's this idea in blackpill spaces that highly successful guys are just doing it to impress women and win over the girl in high school that curved them for Chad, like one of those poorly-drawn EurasianTiger comics (funny though they may be). That's just not true. A lot of them want the money and lifestyle, were just naturally successful in school because of a high IQ, or are narcissistic and want a prestigious career to feel superior to others.

If you can get into medical school and make 500k a year as an orthopedic surgeon, why would you not do it? Because Jeremy Meeks is more attractive to girls? And this somehow means you should give up on all professional accomplishments, because why exactly? It's better to be a well-paid doctor than a nihilistic rotmaxxer, even if you are ugly, despite that it won't get you genuine desire or affection from women. And if Meeks could have gotten into med school, it would have been better for him to become a doctor than a street thug like he used to be as well.

I used to feel this sort of nihilism which was a lot of the reason I didn't careermax, and it's extremely stupid. I hate myself for it to this day. Had I taken my grades more seriously in undergraduate, I could have been a med school candidate and had a totally different life (but muh 400 weeks vs 1 Meeks bro!).

In fact, a lot of medical school students are good-looking Chads that eschew slaying to study to get as high grades as possible. They'll have long-term girlfriends and FWBs, but they won't be out clubbing or killing it on tinder like your stereotypical Chad - even though they'd obviously succeed with that because of their faces and heights.
