The only difference between each set of data is how many women are single (on both men are listed at about 63%)

So you would think how they define singleness (how the question was asked) is the factor causing the difference.

Honestly makes sense, the 30% gap was way too big and inexplicable, this article quotes a new study that showed a ten% gap between men and women (18-29) in relationships with ~50% of women and ~60% of men having no steady relationship.

This effect is probably caused by a subset of women dating up in age (average age gap is two years) so it can be assumed that a good portion of women who are 28 and 29 would have partners outside the age range of the study. And it may also be caused by women being more likely to call an ill defined relationship a steady relationship while their boyfriends are saying they’re single

It also showed however that when asked whether they’d had sex in the last year, there was around a 10% gap the other way, with only ~10% of men saying they’d had no sex in the last year and ~18% of women.

This could be for various reasons ie. More Women than men totally opting out of casual sex and dating, men lying about having more sex than they had, more men having sex with men than women having sex with women (or more of the women that do sleep with women also sleep with men than men who sleep with men also sleeping with women), or women being more comfortable in long distance or abstinent relationships where no sex is being had in combination with their boyfriends cheating on them

Your link is broken, but there are many things that can cause aberrant data like the definition of 'single' to poor methodology to bad math to just a really unlikely sample.

To balance this, you try and find similar studies which should give you a more holistic understanding of the data you're looking for.
