I never really got this obsession with 'genuine attraction', always struck me as bluepilled but somehow a lot of fellow blackpillers, inkwells and looksmax autist are obsessed with it.
At the end of the day physical attraction is conditional all the same. I used to be fat as a teenager, then I lost a bunch of weight which revealed good bone structure (hollow cheeks, defined jaw, etc.). Naturally, all of the sudden I started getting some female attention. Then I gained a bunch of weight again and reverted to being invisible. Now, I'm very lean again and the attention is back.
If a woman is so called 'genuinely' attracted to me, I realize it's just some monkey part of her brain making her pussy tingle because my cheekbones signal to her that my face can deflect punches more effectively or something. And if I were to ever lose that feature, the 'genuine' attraction would disappear in an instant, so I don't really see the point in obsessing over 'genuine' attraction.

If a woman is attracted to your face, a little signal inside her head from the ooga-booga times goes off; if she's with you for your money maybe that signal isn't present -who cares? As long as she's letting you smash, I wouldn't give it too much thought. Just don't get married, or invest to heavily in the relationship (financially and emotionally).
In general I wouldn't put too much stock into the idea that you should attach value to people perceiving you a certain way within their own emotional landscape anyway. At the end of the day you can't really influence how people think about you inside their own head, and trying to do that is a dead end laid with frustration.
I'm sure the Chinese fella at the dry cleaners thinks I'm an asshole because I don't like making small talk with him, but when I come in he's all smiles and cleans my shit anyway, so what do I care? I try to take the same attitude with women.

People like to over simplify complex things because that's how people are, we like to be able to explain attraction in a simplistic way, to pinpoint it to an articulation in a single sentence.

What makes a person attractive is multi faceted, what makes a person attracted to others is also multi faceted, and everybody has their own personal sets of needs, wants and desires, and they vary from person to person.

i think ultimately, we just got to find what works for us.

the main pillars of attraction are looks, character, personality, status, creativity, reputation and resources.

Personally, from my experience of observing men throughout my life. I think it becomes problematic when someone focuses way too much of his energy into cultivating only one pillar of attraction.......
