My ex wife, who sent me to jail for a day(separation date), and claims both our kids on her taxes, who i pay 35% of my net income... Needs a copy of one of our son's ID (green card)

she said a month ago it was for opening a savings account for him.

I refused. She's supposed to be destitute student with no income, how come she can save him money ?

Now she needs it again for her grant application as she's still a student... for her last year in school.

I didn't reject, but i asked her to document her request in talking parents with her explanation in writing.

Mind you, our other son has two passports, our divorce decree grants me his passport(s). But she gave me only the US one. (She has two passports for the kids, i have only one passport.

Why should I care what she needs our son's ID for ? Why should I Help her even if the reason was true this time?

All i know, she could use it to declare it as lost or stolen and get a a new one issued that she'd keep.

It's the only ID i have of my eldest, which i need to put him in school for next school year as the judge granted me school choice.
