My ex and I divorced last year in Colorado. This year she moved her and the kids to another state after I was involuntarily moved (military change of station) to another state.

I currently pay both child support, alimony and because our prior home in Colorado hasn’t sold yet we still split the mortgage (until it’s sold). Even if it were to sell it still wouldn’t fix the current issue I’m having. I now incur substantial and ongoing travel expenses to exercise his court-ordered parenting time, including airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, and related costs.

I’m unable to get ahead financially, I budget every month but any time I want to spend time with my children I end up falling behind. Do I even have a chance to get spousal maintenance suspended or even reduced?
