Hi, I offered to take my oldest to camp on Thursday. My ex wanted to be a super mom, and changed the appointment that I made for my child to have his scheduled vaccines. Well, technically, she didn't cancel the appointment. She decided the day after I told her I made an appointment she scheduled her own appointment and didn't cancel my appointment.
The only reason I don't want my ex bringing them is that my youngest will probably feel a bit under the weather from the vaccines. If my youngest is worked up, then my oldest is worked up, then my ex will be overwhelmed it will be a messy few days for my children.
Hard to read text, but I only talk via text, so I have a backlog of what's been going on. Ex mentioned that she is capable of handling both. On top of that, my ex didn't take my daughter to camp one day last week and refused my offer to help. My ex has been refusing to update me on her work schedule and tell me the days she's off. I offered to help if needed last week, and I can bring our daughter to keep because she really enjoys going. My ex turned down the offer.
Then I am worried that my ex is taking the children on vacation in three weeks. I usually was the one who did the driving. Also, the researcher grabbed the items we needed. Also, when in public I was the one who watched the children. I bought a brand new pop-up tent, never used, last year that my ex still has. So hopefully she will use that when they go to the beach. My youngest is on heart medication so I just bought a tent and two fans. Plus, I have a cooler family that gave me. Also, have family to help watch my children. We are right near the beach, so if need be, I can cool my youngest off right away. I don't know if my ex has anything for our youngest.
My biggest concern is them being in a two-bed two-room hotel for a few days. My ex slapped my child on the rear and screamed at her, three to four years ago, on a vacation. She had a rage moment. Super nervous that will happen, my oldest will be traumatized and have school issues, and be kicked out.
Also, worried my ex will not seek help from me or my family in bringing my child to school. As we don't know my ex's work schedule, she may have the children on days she works. Worried she won't take my oldest to school. The only person to watch my children when my ex has them is her mom. Her mom is on prescribed pain medication and not legally allowed to drive. Also, they have extensive knee and back issues. As well as cardiac health issues. Smokes in her car with the window up and at home when she has the children. Has no car seats or bases to transport the children. Not sure if I can get in trouble legally for my ex not taking the children to school. Also, if my ex calls out of work and loses her job instead of taking up my offer then do I have to pay child support or alimony at that point?
Just thoughts going through my head.
