Divorce was discussed a year ago but nobody did anything about it. In November, I finally interviewed lawyers to move the process forward. I did not tell her. The paperwork is filed but she hasn’t been served yet.

My actions have turned classic grey: no emotion, limited communication, becoming fiscally conservative. And although she only senses a divorce is imminent, her spending has escalated dramatically, she is moving her online business inventory outside the home, and she has been financially setting herself up to look like she is completely dependent on me for spousal maintenance.

I am researching and exhausting every scenario I can think of, but it’s still a shock that she is researching every scenario to screw me. This is like going into battle and we haven’t even begun to fight. This sub makes me scared as hell.
