1840.00 is what I hear for one kid. I have four and the cap is 3200.00 per my legal counsel.

Yes it will be capped. Expect other things to be asked for though. I am in the same boat with two kids. My CS is capped at $2300, I cover all medical, dental and vision. 75% of unreimbursed medical expenses and 75% of all extra curricular activities. In texas the standard custody now is expanded standard (Thursday overnight) and every other weekend. Rare that you’ll have to pay alimony unless she can’t work or has disability. Make sure everything is setup via the texas SDU to pay child support, which can be done without an income withholding order so that your employer isn’t involved in the mess.

Texas is a just and right division state, so expect your stbx to get a bit more in assets. No fault state, so nobody cares who did what.

If the other party can show any reason that would convince a judge, then yes, there can be an upward deviation. Your child support calculators will be on the internet but you will likely pay for the state where your child is a resident.
