Friend, this is your new normal. The second a woman says she wants a "break", what she really means is that she's found another guy and she wants to fuck him. If you forgive her, she'll do it again.
Get an attorney and file. Fight for your kids. Fuck her.

You probably won't hear this from too many guys here.
She feels guilty, but she's moved on. Thinks its a better pasture for her, it probably isn't and she's hearing that in the back of her head. But will continue to ignore it till she's in a mess and thinks maybe I shouldn't have bailed.
But you can't do anything about that, all you can control is you.
Side note: if you completely fall apart what will happen? especially if you go into some super dark suicidal/alcohol situation? What if it get's really bad and your out of the picture.. Those kids would grow up without you, and who knows what will be said about it all. You need to be there for those kids.
The ex/marriage that's her choice, their is only so much you can do. If someone wants to leave a relationship they will.
Your kids you'll have for the rest of your life and their's and you need to be there for it.
I'd see if one of your parents or someone can stay with you for a bit. You need someone else around you. And fyi your parents are already worried about you. You hiding off, keeping them at a distance makes it worse. Go to your parents talk to them a little, cry about it. Spend sometime with them.
Go do a hobby, keep yourself busy. Workout, avoid alcohol (your stbx probably isn't, and the only reason kids are probably okay with it all is they aren't seeing her drink herself to bits) So you need to keep yourself together for those kids. Who knows how/what your ex will do (and hopefully everything will be fine), but you need to make sure it's a stable good environment around you for the kids.
