It’s usually just another excuse for the incoming shitty behavior.

Oh it’s the meds. The meds worked. At first. Then they stop working/don’t work well enough. Time to find a new better mindfuck med. Crash and burn in between (it’s the meds fault, not hers). A month to ‘get used to the new meds’ while acting worse than before. Throw in a few anxiety/adhd/sleep meds to manage things before the new meds worked. The meds would stop working. Find new meds. Repeat.

I rode that roller coaster with my now ex far too long before I said the hell with this. I can still remember every time my ex was prescribed another new mindfuck drug. I would feel a chill run through me because I knew hell was coming. I could write reviews on about a dozen meds. Add some alcohol if you like public meltdowns.

It doesn’t help that doctors hand out free samples like candy before prescribing the meds. I’m still finding old scrips and sample boxes. My ex was somewhat of a hoarder.
