Hey guys, was wondering your guys opinion on this because it’s been making feel a bit guilty.

So I live in the state of Arizona. I’ve been here all my life. The cost of living since COVIID hit (only state still open at the time…) has gone up so high it’s not funny.

4 bedroom 3 bath 2 story home use to be 1000 dollars a month. Now, 2200 a month.

My point is this. Me and the ex wife don’t make enough to do things solo, hell I’ve been hearing from her family that she’s doing horrible with money right now. Idk why she doesn’t just work 40 hours or at least do a second job.

Anyways, I’ve asked her if we could stop doing 50/50 right now until the end of the year. I want to take time to make a lot of money and possibly work a second job so that I can get my kids back into a house. Because right now the direction we are both going, we won’t ever get into house a for years…. I’ve also agreed to pay a certain amount of money obviously since she will have them more. Also, I live with my cousin, I only pay 700 a month. So I’m able to rack up a ton of money right now. But he has 2 kids and his wife so this 3 bedroom is crowded. I can’t stay here forever.

I feel guilty cut time but I feel it’s the best thing for them. I mean if my ex wife had no plans to getting them a house or make a decent living…..I mean…I want too. I wanna take charge and get them there own bedrooms before my 7 year old turns 16 in a blink of an eye.
