Afternoon guys. Court is the end of this month. 2 young children will be shared custody residency with my STBXW. I work weekends and 60-70 hours per week. She’s a school teacher and the schedule makes perfect sense. Thankfully we get along to the point successful coparenting seems like it will be attainable. No restrictions on the kids and we can be in each other’s company without fighting finally.

My question is the start over. Thinking of a multi family in a college town with my brother. I’m 30 he’s 24. Letting college rent offset our monthly expenses. Given the monthly support amount (perfectly reasonable and kids are worth every penny).... I just don’t see any other way to move forward without being completely strapped financially.

What are some other ideas guys have had to move forward without being destitute.
