I submitted the filing two days ago. 15+ years with house, debt, kids. We both work, me making more than 3x income than her. About her, well that will come later because I just wanted to finally make a post after promising myself I would and after reading someone’s story. This was only after seeing some pretty inspiring and uplifting posts from those still in the midst of it and those who’ve made it out. Also to those still on the fence.

Just saw a post today that was me similar to me, but sad part it was me a couple years ago and I’m just barely taking action.

Anyways before I get off topic I’m part of the group who married the crazy bitch. It’s seems the ends of the spectrum in this sub are crazy spouse or dudes not reading the signs and realizing their mistake(s) too late. There’s the middle ground with its mix of problems and wildcards so don’t get me wrong. So pretty much my situation leans to crazy bitch / passive dude side.

After filing I’ve got all this crap to read and print. Even found out today that 1st court date is in 2 months. Trying to keep it 50/50 but hoping for best, expecting the worse. Goal is to update my status weekly. Stay strong and thanks to all those that have shared. Your words have helped more people than you may ever know and I hope to do the same someday.
