The asset division is looking grim! my wife took hold of everything, she made an offer for the house that was less than %50 of the equity, my lawyer pushed me to accept because according to her my wife could drag this for a long time and needed funds to get a place to live and pay my lawyer.

No she wants division of my accounts, and investments. however I have sent my mother about 80k in the last year leading to the divorce, some in form of stocks and other in form of cash that all went into mom investment account!

for my side I said "I have provided financial support to my mother for her dedicated care of my children while she stayed at home to attend to their needs. Additionally, my mother had previously extended financial assistance to me during times of need. Regrettably, I do not possess specific records of these transactions."

Is there any way to protect those assets?
