Had temp motion hearing today. I won some wonderful long term precedent items (exclusive use of house after a order of protection was challenged and upheld), 50/50 week on/week off custody.
Neither got final decision making.
I have to advance her 4k for attorney fees against the estate
But where I got screwed is the judge only imputed 12k annual salary to her. She has a bachelor's degree, has helped volunteer and start non profits, has a cosmetology license, and is "homeschooling our son" three days a week.
I am disabled but have a private disability policy that is 6 figures a year.
I have been paying mortgage, utilities, swim class, preschool, car insurance, phones, sba loan, cleaners, home maintenance, life insurance, etc. And about 3k a month towards my attorney.
Yet I get slammed with 2400 temp alimony and 250 child support. After all of these bills I am left with just 1500 a month to live off of... I am the one on disability she can freaking work but chooses not to. She was asking for 3700 / mo. Which is insane.
I have to remember this is temporary.
How did your temp orders deviate from final orders?
