I hate divorce.

I don't even have to tell my son that he shouldn't marry, he saw first hand his mother take every penny and come back with the help of lawyers for more.

I know it's sad. But this is why it is pertinent for us to talk to young men and have them understand that marriage is not something that HAS to be done. Even the Bible says it's better not to marry (I Cor7) because of the difficulties inside marriage. It takes a matrurity from both sides that our society as a whole lacks. We marry because we've been with someone we probably should not be dating anymore because of the turmoil. We think it'll make things better or that we don't have enough patience or selfconfidence to move on. TALK to young men and women about this. Build them up and let them know of the pitfalls. Some will be blinded by love, sure, but the more they hear this from their elders... PERHAPS they'll think twice and choose a better person or possibly work on themselves or BOTH. Either way, serious thought and reflection needs to be taken before entering marriage and there's NOTHING WRONG with saying it.
