An interesting dynamic I've noticed in my high conflict divorce is how overt criminality is responded to with "you just need to take that to divorce court". One example, on my parenting time, two strangers came up to me, put hands on me, and said my son needed to leave with them on my parenting time. One was a lawyer and informing him that the court order was clear on this point made no difference. I pushed through with the kid in tow. Called the police later... they didn't even create a police report much less talk to the other party. "Take it to the family law judge".

My ex has admitted **in writing** to invested the doorknobs on the kids' bedroom doors so she can lock them in at night. This is unlawful restraint in my state, a felony. DCFS says "you need to take that the to family law judge". Best part, they have the email and the evidence so I literally have nothing to bring to the judge.

While DCFS was at my house discussion the various problems with the kids, my ex showed up unannounced and stayed on my property 30 minutes. "Take it to the judge".

If I call her a bitch in anger, I get OP'd and sent to county. She can admit to felonies in writing, and no one can seem to get off their ass to do anything.

Maternal divorce immunity... its a bitch.
