I have mediation soon. For context, the ex wife left the marital home at the end of August 2024. At the time she didn’t have a place of her own to rent so she stayed with her sister. She made me sign a temporary custody agreement that expired that same year and not court mandated. Kids have always lived in the house and continue to live with me in the house. They each have their own rooms, I pay for everything, take care of their extra curricular a and both boys have an IEP. Ex has the boys every other weekend since 2024.

Question for the community, what should I expect from mediation? Also has anyone stayed in the marital home while the ex left and you kept the kids, how has it been?
