Went through mediation today. Took all day but it went as well as I could expect. The mediator we had was the difference. My lawyer and I rejected all the mediators she and her lawyer wanted. They rejected my first choice for mediation but settled for my second choice. THAT was HUGE. Every mediator they wanted (3 total) were women. I can't stress how important it is for you to have a male mediator.
