It was 2010 and my first daughter had just been born. Things were good, we just got married, bought a house, and started our family. I was so happy. We both worked at the same organization that was a mid-sized business employing about 600 employees at the time. I worked the PM shift from 2:30-10:30pm and she worked the AM shift from 6:30-2:30am so we wouldn't need daycare for our new daughter. It was perfect for our family, and gave her the perfect schedule to get nailed by our co-workers. Sometime in 2011 I had a fellow employee approach me to tell me what everyone else in the organization knew, my wife was being a total slut and letting guys do whatever they wanted to her while on break at work in the parking garage. After all of this came to light, I found out that she had been bringing dudes back to our home while I was at work to nail her in our marital bed. I was humiliated and devastated. My world had fallen apart. My wife was also ignoring our daughter while "hosting" men in our house. We had a roommate at the time that eventually told me that our daughter would cry FOR HOURS while my (ex) wife was in the bedroom. I made an effort to try to salvage our marriage but I soon found out that I could not forgive her enough to start trusting her. I made a lot of mistakes following our separation and eventual divorce. Tinder was new back then, so I started in on the new "hook-up" culture and began seeing countless women that I had no other intention but to nail and move on to the next. It left me feeling depressed, empty, and worthless. Having casual sex was definitely not the way to build myself up or set a good example for my young daughter. I then got a membership at a local gym and began lifting 6 days per week, enrolled in our local college to improve my skills and employment options, and began to eat clean. I became a Registered Nurse, got a great job, and felt amazing with my new body and mindset. It was not easy and I wish I would have had someone in my life to guide my decisions during the time I was going through the separation and divorce. Fast forward to now: I am happily re-married to an AMAZING woman that supports me, trusts me, and I trust with my life. We have 3 more beautiful children and a beautiful home in a great little sub-division. Now I am a Health & Wellness Coach and I help men that are going through divorce, cheating spouses, and custody battles so that I can elevate them to become better all around. I hope that you never find yourself in need of divorce, but if you do I hope I can help you navigate the emotions and heartache that follows these terrible situations.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, you are stronger than you think while going through traumatic experiences. Build your tomorrow with intention and wisdom. Your kids will thank you for staying strong for them.
