Gentlemen, there is hope.

Let’s just say the tanks are fueled, and command and control has decided to launch a second offensive. The is a trail of blood running through the desert (she admitted she is running low on money).

My lawyer just finished sending over a counter-proposal with absolutely legit numbers, where me and the children walk away with 98% remaining in the house trust, her owing me $7500 in further money, her on the hook for over $400 a month in child support (which can be increased when my health degrades further and I need to work less). Child support is non-negotiable in my jurisdiction. She does not qualify for alimony of any sort, which even though she stayed at home for a bit, she was able to resume her job field post separation.

I feel another blitzkrieg coming on … if she doesn’t financially settle, we are going to court and seeking further funds which I have documentation to back up, and legal fees.

The divorce decree application was severed from the settlement, and has already been sent to court.
