Some friends and family supported me unconditionally - I trust them more than ever.

Some friends supported me without picking sides - I respect that and we remain friends.

Some “friends” took her side but then acted like they wanted to support me - I don’t do fake friends. They’re out.

Some “friends” took her side completely - they’re gone from my life.

Some “friends” just wanted to spectate and gossip - they’re gone.

Most family and friends never reached out to me or checked on me.

My mother brothers, and sister, but now that my grandma is about to die, one of them reached out to me and made it into a thing where "oh because you dont want contact with us" that gaslighting she got from our mother, so fuck them. I told my sister politely to fuck off.

I ditched them out of my life. I am 41 and cannot be arsed anymore.

If they ever get into the same situation they do not have to bother to contact me. I am at peace i am happy, it was a massively chaotic and disjointed family anyway with lots of trauma and drama.

My divorce showed who my true friends are. Ones that stood by, listened to me cry, answer my midnight FaceTimes, and are helping me keep from being too jaded. VS. The people that reached out to only get the gossip. Haven’t heard from any of latter for over 2 years.
