UK based so looking for some kind of validation of others who have/are experiencing the same.

My sons mum has in my eyes completely lost the plot.

She refuses to engage in any conversation around settlements or child arrangements. She is seemingly making the process incredibly difficult staying 'any contact causes her distress'.

Background, she moved out over a year ago and I filed for divorce in January. I've had 3 valuations on the property all sent to her and instructed an estate agent to list the house. She is refusing so it seems.

As per the UK process Mediation must be sought first before applying to the courts. I had my initial session to outline the details. They have contacted her and she is yet again refusing.

STBXW is refusing all contact with third parties stating go through solicitors. Mediation services do not engage directly with solicitors so I guess I will have to apply to the courts now and the estate agent isn't getting a response.

She has expressed no desire to return and remain in the 'family home' and buy me out. I could buy her out but I just want to sell as I believe no offer will be accepted and it's easier just to get the total sum and split.

My question, the only thing keeping me pushing forward other than the thought of my son is that all this behaviours backfires on her. Surely someone else has gone through the same?

I am doing everything in my power to follow the process and she is just throwing up barriers constantly.

Everything is documented and everything goes to my solicitor.

My only hope is that the court sees this as unreasonable behaviour.

Gentlemen give me some hope?
