First time posters. I have found this place so helpful the last few years. Won't make this long. Been divorced 13 months. Ex somehow got a childsupport review ordered. Ohio states they only do it every 36 months unless special circumstances have changed. She is about to give birth to BF/AP child and they live together. She is wearing a huge rock on her finger. I don't know if she is employed, or how long since she has been unemployed. Other than that, I really don't understand what could have changed. She has had 3 or more jobs since seperating, and a higher risk pregnancy at her age. I have not had a increase in income. I'm self employed and might have spent more than I made in 2023. Idk taxes are not done yet. All my business is legal, documented, non-cash and have a professional accounting firm who handles my taxes. They want 3 years. Well by there own request, they are only getting one year since court finalization. They have requested review before 2023 tax deadline. I don't know if I should even present 2023. I just received this Friday. So haven't informed lawyer. Idk if to involve lawyer. I have spent so much over last few years with him. If I present 2023, it very well is possible to lower the support. Then I will be a bigger asshole and she will penalize my daughter, and try to keep her from me. I have her 2 days one week and 4 days the next. Plus any extra days. Only 3 months a years during my busy season I'm I not able to have her. Which was written into custody agreement. I don't even work the days I have her, I schedule off and spend all hours with her, except school. It's not financially beneficial to me. But I feel it's the best for my daughter. And when she is older I can work more. But if I have to pay more, I will need to work more. If I work more, it will effect my ability to have my daughter.
